Al Leung
As President & CEO of Technomics, Al Leung is responsible for the strategies, day-to-day operations, and bottom-line performance of our employee-owned company. This includes development of differentiated capabilities and offerings that deliver enduring value to Technomics' clients; recruiting, development, and retention of analytical talent; and development of employee ownership culture. Mr. Leung applies over 20 years of government and commercial experience including over 10 years of experience as a partner and vice president at IBM to improve performance and to provide reliable solutions. His experience in cost analysis, strategy, and process consulting helps Technomics' clients make better decisions faster.

Michael Lionais. CMA, CPA
Managing Director, Technomics Canada Consulting ULC
Michael Lionais is overseeing Technomics expansion across Canada as the Managing Director of the Ottawa office. With over 35 years experience in Public Sector financial and cost stewardship, he is bringing cost estimating benchmarks and data-driven approaches to Canada's major infrastructure projects. Mike’s contributions to the Canadian government and publications are widely recognized, holding the position of Regional Director for Canada on the ICEAA Board of Directors, and working as an active contributor to CPA Canada and a university executive program facilitator. Michael leverages his wealth of experience and knowledge to provide clients dependable, clear insights.

Peter Weltman, MBA
Director of Business Development, Technomics Canada
Steering Technomics Canada's growth and innovation, Peter Weltman is an invaluable asset as our Director of Business Development. As the former Financial Accountability Officer of Ontario (FAO) from 2018 to 2023, he oversaw first-of-its-kind financial analysis of climate impacts on public infrastructure and cemented his reputation as a trusted authority on Ontario’s finances and trends in the provincial economy. Peter's active participation in national conferences and his recent appointment to a board tasked with overseeing the restructuring of a regional municipality further underscore his commitment to excellence and superior leadership skills.

Michael Sepa, PEng, PMP
Director, Business Operations
Michael has 30 years of engineering and project management experience where he has led large teams on projects developing complex aerospace, military, and telecommunication systems. His experience includes project management of teams of up to 75 people in multiple remote sites as well as extensive earned value management experience on budgets up to $50 million. His previous role was as the systems engineering lead and control account manager for the Canadian Surface Combatant project at Lockheed Martin Canada. Michael is a professional engineer in Ontario, holds a Project Management Professional certification and possesses a mini-MBA from the McGill University, Executive Institute.

Andrew Gibson is a visionary data science leader with over 15 years of experience in building high-performing teams and architecting integrated data systems across Finance, Procurement, Project Management, Public Health, and Government IT. He has a track record of delivering complex, high-stakes projects—including pandemic response systems, government-wide financial reporting tools, and large-scale procurement analytics. Andrew has held executive and senior leadership roles in the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), and the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS), where he led critical data modernization initiatives.
